Sweeney teams up with MICO for their latest release “Cross the room”

Los Angeles artist Sweeney (@sweeneysongs) teams up with renowned bedroom pop artist MICO (@micotoronto) for their latest release “Cross the room”. On Cross the room, Sweeney truly gives it his all, coming out swinging hard from the moment the track starts, as he tells a tale of unrequited love, unsure emotions, and ultimately heartbreak. In my personal opinion, Cross the room shines the most thanks to the insanely strong writing that the artists gave it, I mean from the very beginning Sweeney manages to attract the listener effectively through his relatable lines like “But will you text me in the morning I can't buy your feelings back” which he also delivers perfectly. MICO as per usual does his thing extremely well, coming in smoothly on the track’s verse portion with an impressive vocal performance that gets better and better the more it goes on, especially in the parts where he gets to show off his perfectly executed vocal harmonies. Finally, let’s discuss the one thing that really ties this track together, the production. This track has a few producers on it, but seems to be spearheaded by the talented, Sensu, who just gives it that spark that a Sweeney song has, like, the way the guitar just HITS when it hits! This track is a perfect culmination of soft, and aggressive in the best way possible.
