LUCKY NUMBER 7 IS NO EXCEPTION TO VIDEO G’S LATEST PORJECT
Houston artist, Video G’s latest release “In Character” is an amazing 7 track EP that does not slow down. The quick listen emphasizes many different styles ranging from a futuristic Boom Bap with the intro “Reloaded” to production similar to Wu-Tang and Joey Badass to the more modern trap influences with “Getit” and even some soulful beats similar to Isaiah Rashad and J.Cole. Video is able to find the perfect connection between him and the beat, allowing him to deliver great verses and chorus’s while maintaining the vibe of the song the whole time. “In Character” is a great showcase of Video G’s ability and definitely serves as a great introduction.
