MINNESOTA’S THANKUJONAH IS HERE WITH A NEW SINGLE “introvertED !”
Straight from the underground, Minnesota artist, and content creator thankujonah (@thankujonah) delivers a hidden gem via his latest soundcloud release “introvert !”. Full disclosure: I've been awaiting this release for over a week now, and it's safe to say the artist did not disappoint, as “introvert !” is nothing short of a lowkey banger. Now as is the case with an artist as versatile as thankujonah, you never know exactly what you’re ever gonna get from the music, one song he might give you the most positive pop anthem you’ve ever heard, the next it could be a sad ballad that’ll hit you right in the feels. This time around Jonah decided that it's time to flex all that hard work he’s put in, and what better way to do just that than with a rap track. On this track we get yet another taste of Jonah’s signature vocal performance, coming with a fast paced flow and delivery met head on by the occasional quote worthy one liners that Jonah’s come to be known for. As far as vocal performance goes, we get a solid performance that allows thankujonah to sound cool, collected, and confident as he raps about his perspective as an artist on the come up, as well as providing commentary on the perception that other people seem to have on the young artist. For rap fans, this should be an easy listen, as Jonah’s deep and often naturally aggressive tone fits right into the genre, all while maintaining a melodic presence, and a good enough performance at that.
