BAYYMACK’S “WHEN THE LIGHTS GO OFF” IS A GREAT RETURN FROM THE ARTIST
BY IJR
Bayymack (@Bayymack) returns in style as per usual, still clearly carrying the torch for edm-heavy, energy-driven music that seeks to make a mark. When the lights go out is a fun new addition to our main man Bayymack’s catalog, littered with interesting production motifs and especially engaging vocal engineering. Every time that I listen to a track in this style by Bayymack, I can’t help but be reminded of old techno hits of the early 2000s and beyond, I mean the synth-heavy beats, complimented by a light, airy, and aesthetically “cute” vocal, I mean it’s perfect! We absolutely cannot discuss this track without mentioning our featured artist Syris (@xxsyris) who doubles down on the ideas previously laid out by Bayymack, delivering an even lighter vocal performance, which almost feels surreal in a sense. It seems Bayymack has found a sound that complements his bright and colorful aesthetic, as much as it provides a welcome change of artistic direction and I for one am excited to see where this leads.
