A BEAUTIFUL DEBUT FROM MORGAN GOLD

Describe this album in one word? Easy, Euphoric. That is the best way I can describe the latest album from Morgan Gold. “MIDAS” truly feels like the most cohesive work Morgan has put out yet. The sound scape that is created compliments Gold’s vocals perfectly creating such a ryhtmic and dark vibe. With a sound that is reminiscent of 070 shake, Morgan is able to fill out the open space with small vocal pops and Melodie’s that tie everything together into a beautiful picture. Before this project was presented to me, I hadn’t heard the name Morgan Gold, but after this listen, I will continue to look for her future releases. A few stand out elements from our listen were how crisp the engineering quality was, how each vocal performance came and satisfied the needs without under/over doing anything and the overall performances from each respective party.
