PRENTISS DELIVERS ON HIS Latest single
Bedroom pop star Prentiss (@1prentiss) delivered an undeniable smash hit last week with his latest single “Seasons” featuring rapper-rocker, Lil aaron (@lilaaron). Seasons is great because just as I’ve predicted in my past writings on the fifteen-year-old Prentiss, we’re finally seeing the fruits of the hard labor that he and his team have put in. Young Prentiss has come a long way from his initial blow-up moment with the single “October” in late 2020, as proven by Seasons through Prentiss’ improved songwriting ability, vocal performance, and especially mixing quality. On top of the amazing work done by Prentiss himself, it would be a miss if I didn’t pay my absolute props to producers, Daniel (@danielgeraghty), Bryan De Leon (@bryanrulez), and Lil aaron himself, who absolutely tore up this beat with their killer guitar riffs, and extremely high energy drum work. Last but not least, other than assisting with the track’s production, Lil aaron also provided guest vocals in the latter half of the song, delivering a verse that’s on the shorter side, but still manages to justify its presence, as he rhymes with a calm demeanor and a mellow tone. Seasons is exactly what I’ve been waiting to hear from Prentiss, finally proving to all skeptics that he truly belongs in the spot he’s earned.
