trevor daniel returns with “story”
Since 2019 Trevor Daniel (@iamtrevordaniel) has been one of my favorite artists. You might remember him from his smash hit “Falling,” which debuted in 2018, however, the creative’s been a little quieter as of late, finally feeding the fans something brand new as “Story” makes its way into the music landscape. On “Story” Trevor gives us an infectious tune that rides the line of pop music, but also alternative rock. Thematically, Trevor contemplates the duality of a failed relationship, singing “Wonder which story to tell, one where we’re in heaven or you put me through hell,” wondering if he should look back at the past lover fondly, or with bitter eyes. This track is all around solid, from the fun and upbeat production to the catchy chorus, and thought-provoking verses. It truly is a treat every time Trevor Daniel comes back and gives the fans some much-deserved music, and “Story” is a nice new addition to the catalog!
