Hyperpop sensation Aldn (@hereisaldn) delivers a brand new banger through his latest release, “Sydney”. On “Sydney,” Aldn gives us an expansion of the “hyper-punk” sound that he’s adopted lately, through uptempo production, groovy basslines, and a vocal melody reflective of Aldn’s punk rock roots. Narratively, we get the story of a girl named Sydney who aldn describes as a girl without a care in the world, having a cool attitude, and a strong interest in drugs. Aldn’s really outdone himself with this one, as he sheds the style of hyperpop that originally blew him up, and embraces a more fun, and personal-sounding style that’s sure to open more doors for him collaboratively.
