START THE NEW MONTH WITH KAYO’S LATEST SONG

I was presented with this new track a couple days ago and coming into it I had never heard any of Kayo’s prior releases so I was intrigued. I had seen his name pop up a few times but never was presented with any music. “Talk” is his newest release and it is such an emotional but fresh take on the usual relationship song. “Talk” shows Kayo breaking down all the faults in this relationship as he vents out the way he feels and the way that the lifestyle of both of the individuals don’t fit although the image and thought of it working has pushed them forward. The ambient instrumental feels like mix between 6Lack & Saba but Kayo is able to make it his own. The blend of ambient Rnb mixed with the influence of rap really allows Kayo to experiment with melody and flows, separating himself from a lot of todays music.
