Meet Wave Parker, a rising artist coming out of Ohio with a unique sound
MEET WAVE PARKER
Coming out of Cincinnati, Wave Parker has been creating music for about 12 years. He credits his first encounter with recording to one of his close friends, “I went over his house and saw his studio, I wanted parts. Recorded my first song with him and kept goin at it until my parents got me my own equipment” he states. His music is heavily inspired by Larry June, Curren$y, Erykah Badu, Big KRIT, UGK, Ludacris just to name a few. Most of Wave’s music stays within the realm of HipHop/Rap & Funk but that doesn’t scratch the surface of his talents. Parker produces, engineers, creates graphics & merch designs, and also takes photography/videographer.
PRODUCT ON DEMAND
The latest effort of Wave is “Product on demand” and it has been on repeat all day. You can hear the influence of Waves home town heavily and the whole album delivers a vibe that is super contagious. Some stand out tracks being “Still Ball” “P.O.D” and “Pay to win”. Parker has definitely found a great pocket with this project that he can effortlessly slide on.
