Prentiss (@1prentiss) returns right back into his element through his latest single “Where it hurts”. Hot off the heels of his Lil Aaron collab “Seasons,” Prentiss gives us yet another taste of his signature bedroom pop style down to the production. Lately, Prentiss has been on a roll with singles, continuing to show the insane amount of growth he’s undergone, not only has his production, and vocal engineering quality gone up immensely, but through “where it hurts” Prentiss delivers some of his best writing efforts to date. The narrative on this one really stuck with me as Prentiss sings about a romantic situation that ultimately turned out for worst, as his former love interest hits him in the place it hurts the most.
