Vancouver based indie pop/alternative artist, Mia Shanks, debut’s her single "Yesterday” and it seems like such an exciting start to the artist’s career. “Yesterday speaks to anyone and everyone about the concepts of grief and acceptance being able to co-exist” and honestly the only way that this message is able to be communicated is through the beautiful and emotional vocals that Mia brings. One big thing that makes an artist really stand out to me besides their music is their ability to be a person. This songs relatability for just about anyone is really the seller and being able to hear the authenticity from Mia makes this truly such an great release.
