Coming at you with a new one from bedroom pop star dyl dion (@dyl.dion), who released his latest single “cirrostratus” today. It’s always a good time when dyl comes through with a new single because when he does, you know that you’re in for a good vibe all around. On cirrostratus we hear dyl over an an up-beat, and colorful production style similar to that of classic shoegaze bands. Dyl himself, sounding as bright as ever fills us in on his latest dilemma, as he comes to terms with the fact that he can’t be the person that someone else wants him to be, as he can only be himself. While you won’t find anything particularly “earworm-y,” on this track, the sentiment is executed quite well, and you can feel the relatable pain of failing to measure up to someone else’s standards, and especially the fear that they can leave you just like that. This song is definitely one you’re gonna want to give a listen to, and while you’re at it, go find it on YouTube too because the visualizer that’s on there is aesthetically gorgeous.
