KMOe returns with “crush”

BY IJR

Kmoe the kid released a brand new bop yesterday through his latest single “crush”. Crush is a nearly three minute long exhibition of the raw production talent that the young artist possesses, and the feats of engineering that he’s capable of. I’ve followed Kmoe for nearly two years now, and trust me when I say that crush very well may be his most impressive track to date, rightfully declaring to the world that he’s more than just a vocalist. In the past, Kmoe’s taken influence and borrowed from the sounds and styles of electronic dance music, but on Crush, we get to hear Kmoe fully embrace the very genre that initiated his dive into music to begin with. This track is truly electric, from its colorful, yet aggressive synth lines, to the playfully subtle vocal chops that appear to be sung by Kmoe himself, we get a tune that is both moving, and abrasive. Personally I think this release should place Kmoe higher up the imaginary “hyperpop artist tier list,” as it demonstrates just how unique his ear for sound design really is, i mean, off rip I was reminded of other great artists like Skrillex, flume, and just about anyone that’s done great things in the future bass category. Go support Kmoe today!
