Todays listen was from Dr. Blackout with his newest project “The Odds Were Always Against Me” and it is a great continuation from his last project. The project deals heavily on growth and perseverance that the artist had to deal with throughout his life. “TOWAAM” truly shows Blackout diving deeper than he has before and really is able to shine the light on his progression as an artist. Dr. Blackout recruits the help of fellow artists “Kwajo” and “Ki Kari” who both absolute deliver on their respective songs. Overall, this is a great project from the artist and a solid step up from his prior work. With a great blend of styles and with each song delivering its own signature vibe, “The Odds Were Always Against Me” is a project worth tuning into.
