The ambient atmosphere combined with the super punchy drums creates a great contrast that allows Nadine’s voice to serve as the glue. This song feels like you’re just floating in your own dream, creating such an intense feeling and a great experimentation with vocal ability from the artist. With a sound that’s reminiscent of 070Shake, Kid Cudi and a lil bit of The Weeknd, The woods is a perfect listen for just about any listener.
This is my first experience with the singer, and I am definitely not disappointed. Im definitely going to be looking forward to all her future releases and you should too!
