SEBASTIAN KAMAE
Today we take a look at producer Sebastian Kamae and his latest team up with Chicago artist, Femdot. ‘Falling Out Of Love’ immediately catches the ears of its listeners with its funky bassline, nostalgic chopped up horns, and jazzy chords. The combination of great storytelling from Femdot. and the instrumental provided by Kate, “Falling out of love” is such a mellow yet captivating track.
This release is actually the second installment from Kamae’s upcoming project titled, 'Chicago Sessions Vol. 1’. This project consists of a collection works from his last visit to the city in which Kamae enlist his favorite collaborators to “help give voice to his productions and highlight their talents and community that he has been so honored to partake in”. With features from upcoming artists like Drex Carter, Femdot, Mother Nature, King Khamen, Ajani Jones, Frsh Waters of Pivot Gang, Galaxy Francis & Daylight Tone, his upcoming project will definitely be one to look out for.
Overall, this single gives just the right amount of everything and isn’t trying to be something it is not. The vibes are perfect, the verses are not wasted and everything is able to sit great together.
