KING MELIK SHINES ON HIS NEWEST PROJECT “SANCTUARY”
Rising Chicago artist, King Melik, is back and delivers an amazing project with “Sanctuary”. The 10 track project is filled with a multitude of vibes that Melik is able to tackle in a very graceful way. Featuring multiple Chicago artist, Sancturary feels like an ode to the city while also showcasing what King Melik is able to do. With stand out tracks like “No Kizzy”, the more trapsoul “Sing For me” and the ethereal “Mocha”, the growth displayed on this project alone is amazing. Although at some points, the balance between the instrumental and vocals seem to be off, everything in the project just works. This is a must listen and Melik is an artist you should keep an eye on.
